Carnegie Harriers 2021/22 Winter Grand Prix

Carnegie Harriers Winter Grand Prix 2021/22

Here is the list of races in the 2021-22 Winter Grand Prix series.

The list is provisional at this time until we receive confirmation that the events listed are proceeding and full information is available.

The GP comprises a mixture of road, trail and cross country events, with most events being scheduled events rather than club only events.  Sign up dates for events will be shared as soon as they are available .  For the East District and Scottish cross country events, please contact Jonny on [email protected] to let him know you’d like to take part.
Prizes will be awarded in the GP if at least 7 events are held.  If scheduled races cannot be held, the GP may have to be amended.  If possible, club only alternatives will be put on but this is not always feasible.  We will keep you informed of any changes to the GP if required.

Rules for GP completion

  • 7 from 14 events with at least one event of 10k or over, and at least one EDXC or SA XC
  • 7 events must be held for GP prizes to be awarded
  • EDXC events are approximately 6k for women, 9k for men

If external races are not held, then the GP may be reduced. If possible, club only events will be held as alternatives but this may not always be feasible

Please do not hesitate to contact any members of the committee if you have any queries or feedback regarding the 2021-22 Grand Prix.

7 Race Finishes from 14 to be classed as a Completer
