UPDATE ON CORONAVIRUS

The committee has been discussing the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on club activities. The following is based on current information and official guidance, but the situation is constantly changing. The committee will continue to review the situation and issue updates as and when appropriate.

CLUB TRAINING

For the time being training will continue as published. However members displaying any cold or flu type symptoms should not attend until these have cleared. Similarly any member who thinks they may have been in contact with someone with Coronavirus type symptoms should stay away. We would also recommend that you do not shake hands at the end of the session.

2019-20 ROAD GRAND PRIX

With the Alloa Half Marathon, the final event in the road GP having been cancelled, it will no longer count towards the road GP. Final standings will be decided on positions after the Kirkintilloch 12.5k race. This means that members will only have needed to complete 6 races to count as a completer and only their six best results will count for each member. A provisional final table is can be found in the Road GP 1920 section of the website.

2019-20 OFF-ROAD GRAND PRIX

With the Gartmorn 6, the final event in the GP having already been cancelled, it will not count towards the off road GP, which will be decided on positions after the National Cross Country Championships. This means that members will only have needed to complete 6 races to count as a completer and only their six best results will count. A provisional final table is can be found in the Off Road GP 1920 section of the website.

2020/21 GPs

We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation with respect to the upcoming Road and Off Road GPs and the ongoing Hill GP. Any change to the GPs will be announced once more information is available.
