All Rounder Competition Update
The All Rounder Tables are now updated to 18 July which in fact show little change in the counter situation other than there are many more people on the lists due to the summer road running series being well supported. However, there is close competiton in the FV category with Gail and Fabienne on equal points - interesting.

45 Harriers set to contest the Forth Bridge Pitreavie 10K
Pitreavie AAC host the popular Forth Bridge Pitreavie 10K this Sunday morning with the race limit of 400 runners having been reached several weeks ago. The race which starts in North Queensferry and finishes on the North West side of the Forth Bridge next to the Queensferry Lodge Hotel has attracted a superb entry of 45 Carnegie members.

In 2007, over 30 Harriers took part with Simon Plummer setting a course record of 30.53. Simon is unable to defend his title this year but with the likes of David Simpson, Scott Bradley, Ian Stewart and Lewis Lawson all entered our men should feature quite well. The ladies race should be very exciting with Carnegie's Kate McKinnon, Ros Alexander and Fabienne Thompson all set to toe the starting line and they will face strong competition from a strong Pitreavie team.

The race also incorporates the 11th event in our Road Running Grand Prix in which Kenny MacDonald (357 points) and Susan Cederstrom (433 points) are the current leaders.

Moving onto the ultra scene, the club has four members taking part in this Saturday's Devil o'the Highlands footrace from Tyndrum to Fort William. We wish Gail Murdoch, Richie Cunningham, Steven King and Lynne Kuzbest success in their 43 mile race.
